FAQs

  • Please give our office a call at 617-383-7786 or email us at pelvicorewellness@gmail.com. To ensure your schedule consistency you might find it helpful to book a few follow up sessions at the same time.

  • No, you do not need a referral to see us. Massachusetts is a Direct Access state for physical therapy, which means you can have an initial evaluation and treatment with a physical therapist without needing a physician’s referral.

  • Your first visit will include an initial consultation where your physical therapist will assess your condition and discuss your goals. The session will be one-on-one for the entire 60 minutes.

  • Every physical therapy clinic has it’s own approach and specialized techniques. Our team uses evidence-based practices and a personalized approach tailored to your specific needs. We focus on providing comprehensive care and addressing your unique situation.

  • We are an out-of-network provider for private insurance companies. This allows us to offer a higher standard of care without insurance restrictions on visit duration or treatment plans. We provide detailed receipts for you to submit to flexible spending accounts or apply toward out-of-network deductibles.

  • While kegels can be beneficial, they might not address the full range of issues or be the best approach for your specific condition. Our physical therapists will evaluate your needs and create a customized treatment plan that may include a variety of techniques and exercises beyond just kegels to ensure you achieve the best results.
